"I dream of home. Hearing mum sing as she brews her tea, smelling hot toast that I know is for me."

Unlike Joe's other dreams of things he hopes to experience, this dream is different. It is rooted in the past, in nostalgia for simpler times. Joe and Tessa long for the comfortable home they once shared, and this longing will form the aesthetic of their chosen escape. The celestial world is the amalgamation of Tessa and Joe's precious memories of playing together at home- in a pillow fort.

My concept utilises suspended sheets, pillows for seating, and other forms of bedding to create an environment that not only supports the narrative, but serves as a vehicle to enhance the storytelling.
